BED & BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION
Fattoria Grimana, located at 1 Km from the Grisignano di Zocco exit on the Milan - Venice motorway, is a country farmhouse offering warm and comfortable accommodation in the green heart of the Veneto countryside. Guests will be lodged in one of our seven perfectly restored bio-apartments, each of which has been exquisitely furnished providing a refined atmosphere for up to four/five guests each.
Our farmhouse is a member of the quality system "Agriturismo di Qualità - Terranostra".
Our seven bio-apartments, each of which can host up to four or five guests, are arranged over two levels: on the ground level there are two single beds, a bathroom, wardrobe, desk and TV whereas the double bed is on the mezzanine. The wooden or wrought iron furniture is typically Venetian in style.
Bio-logis
The ancient farmhouse walls in local stone or exposed brick have been carefully preserved following the principles of bio-architecture: all the existing materials such as brickwork, wood, iron, and Vicenza's white soft stone have been restored and treated with natural substances only, including beeswax or vegetable resins for wood, and lime for plaster.
Breakfast includes home-made cakes and specialties of the area of Vicenza and is served in the spacious ground-floor room. A relaxed atmosphere awaits you in the guest lounge and library adjacent to the hall.
No other meals are provided and animals are not allowed.
Our farmhouse is immersed in the greenery of the surrounding countryside and its vast grassland areas will be the joy of children and adults alike; while children will enjoy playing table tennis and in the playground, our adult guests can choose between:
a day out walking in the farmyard or sitting on the benches in the shade of the trees
cycling along the cycle-track from our farmhouse to Villa Fogazzaro-Colbacchini and its park, then on to the Bacchiglione river up to San Martino's castle, and then back to the farmhouse, along country lanes and the river side: bicycles are available in the farm
an outdoor barbecue and eat outdoors in the garden
